Aylin Livaneli Went on to Become a Successful Musician

Aylin Livaneli is the daughter of an influential intellectual, acclaimed film director, composer, politician, and author—O.Z. Livaneli. Aylin’s mother is Ulker Livaneli, who is the producer of a number of films and documentaries which have won prestigious awards and which have experienced international success.

Aylin Livaneli went to high school in Paris, France. After finishing high school, Aylin livaneli went to New York University in order to study English Literature. She then went to the London School of Economics and graduated with a degree in Politics and International Relations.

After school, Aylin Livaneli went on to become a successful musician and teenage pop sensation in Turkey—which is one of the largest population countries in Europe. During the time that she was recording five albums and becoming a widely known musician, she was working as an intern, production assistant and production coordinator at her family’s company, called Interfilm. Aylin Livaneli even co-produced and co-hosted a television show called Coke’n’Roll, sponsored by Coca Cola obviously, that was quite successful. She was an integral part of the Interfilm team and was involved in the development of most of the productions.

Aylin Livaneli eventually chose to quit her music career and became more involved in the entertainment industry, writing reviews and news for major Turkish newspapers and magazine. She would eventually form a few media companies of her own and revive the family firm, calling it Interfilm Media & Entertainment.
